Meet the Traust Executive Team:

Mark Peterson, President/CEO
Mark is responsible for developing new business ventures for Traust and providing hands-on assistance to the great clients and people that work with Traust.  Mark was a partner at Solid Logic and PRAGMATEK Consulting Group, Ltd., with responsibilities in sales, recruiting, and operations.  From 1984 through 1994, Mark held sales, new business development, and alternate channel marketing positions with IBM.   A firm believer in helping create opportunity for others, Mark currently serves on the Board of Directors for the House of Charity and the Pine Bend Scout Club Foundation.

Ken Harnack, Director of Enterprise Solutions
Ken manages Traust’s Oracle ERP practice in addition to other enterprise solutions.   He began his career as a Manufacturing Engineering at Rosemount in 1989, progressing to Operations Manager of a $12 million operation in 1995 during which time Rosemount implemented Oracle.  His background includes multi-site implementations of Oracle as a manufacturing consultant at Eaton Hydraulics, Donaldson, Select Comfort, and GE Medical Systems (included Oracle Flow module).  Ken developed Six Sigma experience during the GE Medical project, and taught a two-day lean course at Smead Manufacturing covering TQM, Six Sigma, and Theory of Constraints.  Prior to joining Traust, Ken served as Manager of Application Support and Development at Ceridian where his 23-member team supported the Oracle applications and additional third-party software.  He also functioned as Ceridian’s SOX Manager for General Computing Controls and Automated Business Controls & Reports.

Heidi Balley, Operations Manager
Heidi Balley is Traust’s Operations Manager, where she provides leadership and support in traditional Human Resource department development as well as internal business methodology and process improvements.

Beginning her career in 1988 with Oracle Corporation in Bethesda, MD, she developed a keen sense of applying a practical approach to managing multiple roles, departments and managers allowing for a cohesive organization while maintaining state and federal employee compliance standards. Joining a smaller, yet growing IT consulting firm, Heidi was involved in Marketing support, Benefits Administration and New Hire Orientation. Now applying skills to Traust, she demonstrates the ability to remain flexible and adaptable during growth and change while maintaining a high sense of integrity and obligation to the owners and employees. She implemented and manages the current HRIS, maintains all benefit carrier relationships, plays lead role within the Operations Team, is a branch of the Resource Management Team and acts as corporate communications manager. She’s an active member in HR Connection and Leads two scout troops in West Summit’s Service Unit. Heidi received her Master’s in Public Administration from Hamline University.
